Executive Board

President
Nate Plant (he/him/his)
Nate is a fourth-year Biochemistry major with minors in Epidemiology and Statistics. Nate joined BHR as a first year and has served as the Director of Community Outreach during both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic years. His favorite part about BHR is Harm Reduction week and helping coordinate all the fun service and social events that accompany it. In the future, Nate aims to pursue either an MD/PhD or MD/MSPH degree with a concentration in biostatistics or biomedical informatics to help develop more equitable risk and prevention models for addiction and other psychiatric conditions.

Vice President
Jaden Zelidon (he/him/his)
Jaden is a fourth-year Neuroscience major with minors in Global Public Health and Substance Misuse & Addiction. Jaden joined BHR as a first year student because of an interest in mental health and pharmacology, and has since found a passion for harm reduction work and advocacy to smash the stigma associated with substance use. He has previously served as the Director of Digital Media. His favorite part about BHR are the people involved and weekly volunteering at Safe Point Ohio, Columbus’ local syringe-exchange site. In the future, Jaden intends to pursue an MD/MPH degree to prioritize individualized patient-centered care and impact broader health policy to fight for health justice and transformative care.

Treasurer
Mira Seppi (she/her/hers)
Mira is a second-year Pharmaceutical Sciences major with a minor in Epidemiology and Substance Misuse and & Addiction. Mira became interested in harm reduction after being introduced to its principles in several of her Pharmacy courses. So, she joined BHR as a first-year to learn more about harm reduction strategies and help spread resources across campus and the Columbus area to build a safer community. Mira’s favorite part about BHR is working with a variety of organizations that are equally committed to harm reduction, like This Must Be the Place, which packages Narcan for music festivals. In the future, Mira plans to complete the combined BSPS/PharmD program at OSU and work as an emergency medicine pharmacist to treat patients in critical conditions.

External Director of Narcan Trainings
Eliza Rollinson (she/her/hers)
Eliza is a second-year Health Science major with a minor in Substance Misuse and Addiction. She joined BHR as a first-year with the intent to broaden her understanding of harm reduction strategies and definitions of care. She has since found a passion for outreach and advocacy in the field of harm reduction and substance misuse. Eliza’s favorite part of BHR is volunteering at Safe Point Ohio and participating in Narcan tabling events and trainings across campus to destigmatize drug use. In the future, Eliza plans to pursue a physician assistant program, where she will continue to advocate for the equitable treatment of individuals struggling with addiction in a clinical setting.

Internal Director of Narcan Trainings
Ekansh Seth (he/him/his)
Ekansh is a third-year Neuroscience major with a minor in Substance Misuse and Drug Addiction. He joined BHR as a second-year student out of a interest in the science and policy of harm reduction. This year, he serves as BHR’s Internal Coordinator, overseeing campus Narcan trainings, and leading the team’s naloxone administration study in collaboration with Dr. Orman Hall. His favorite parts of BHR are the people, volunteering weekly at Safe Point Ohio, and seeing how education and community action can truly save lives. After graduation, Ekansh hopes to pursue an MD or MD/PhD with a focus in addiction medicine, working at the intersection of neuroscience, policy, and equitable care.

Director of Community Outreach
Nivedha Sriramji (she/her/hers)
Nivedha is a second-year Pharmaceutical Sciences major who joined BHR during her first year at Ohio State. She was drawn to the organization by its commitment to harm reduction and the unique service opportunities it offers both on campus and in the Columbus community. Her favorite part of BHR is participating in harm reduction volunteering, which allows her to engage directly with the community in meaningful and compassionate ways. Nivedha is an avid reader and audiobook listener who’s always on the lookout for new recommendations. She hopes to become a physician who practices with empathy and meets patients where they are—core principles of harm reduction that continue to inspire her involvement with BHR.

Anna Park (she/her/hers)
Anna is a second-year Neuroscience major with a Spanish minor. She joined BHR as a first-year student out of a desire to support people affected by substance abuse and reduce stigma through education and outreach. Her favorite parts of BHR are Harm Reduction Week and the Hot Dogs for Harm Reduction event because they combine meaningful advocacy with creative, engaging community involvement. In the future, Anna hopes to pursue a DDS/MD degree to provide integrated care for medically complex populations, including those affected by substance use and to advance health equity for underserved populations. Through her work with BHR, Anna has developed a strong interest in public help and hopes to continue advocating for systemic change alongside clinical care.
